What is qEEG testing?

An quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG) is a test that records the electrical activity of your brain. Special sensors are attached to your head and hooked by wires to a computer. The computer records your brain’s electrical activity and creates a “brain map” of your unique brainwaves.

You only have to relax in a chair with your eyes closed. There are no needles or anything painful involved in the process. The wires then come off just as painlessly as they went on. This test cannot hurt you in any way. This is an optional test and is not performed in all situations.
